Technology Tools

This semester has been a wonderful experience for me. This specific class has taught me so much in regards to technology in education! Before this course, I knew very little about what technologies were out there to assist educators. I can now say that I have a nice little "toolbox" that will assist me in my future endeavors. I have learned the value of technology in the classroom and hope that I am fortunate enough to find a job in a district where technology is used greatly within the classrooms. Throughout the course of the semester, the class has forced me to step out of my comfort zone and to try and fail and try again. The most challenging part of this class was the group work. It was hard for my partners and myself to find a time where we could meet up and discuss the topic at hand. However, through those trials, I was able to learn about other types of technology, such as Google hangout and Screencast-o-matic. I deserve and A in this course because I have pushed myself and always put my heart in everything that I have done. I have stepped out of my comfort zone with technologies such as Voicethread and Google Hangout, both of which I had never experienced previous to this course. I have greatly enjoyed this class and look forward to my future technological endeavors within education.
