What is it?
Voicethread is a "cloud application", which means that there is no software to install on your device. It allows users to upload pictures, presentations such as PowerPoint, documents, as well as videos to which they are able to add vocal, text, or audio files as a narrative. This is a wonderful presentation tool that is very user friendly and versatile.
How can I integrate this into my classroom?
Voicethread can be used in the classroom multiple different ways. The easiest way to integrate this technology is to use it as a presentation creator. Students can easily upload pre-made PowerPoint presentations and use Voicethread as a way to "present" their information to class by adding a vocal narrative. However, there are plenty of different ways that students can take advantage of this awesome technology, so go explore how Voicethread can be used in your classroom, and get to integrating!
